Re-designed landing page for Full Platform users

We have re-designed the Exabel app landing page to showcase partner subscriptions that you have access to. For Full Platform users - this will display the full list of subscribed partners, with shortcuts to their curated dashboards / models / strategies / etc. For Insights Platform users with >1 partner subscription, you will see a more streamlined landing page allowing for easy navigation between partner Insights Platforms.

Users with only 1 Insights Platform subscription will not be impacted by this change, and go directly to the partner landing page, as before.

Other new features

  • Point-in-time: this has been released externally for prediction models, and is now available for the “Prediction model (ML)” and “Classification model” types. See our full announcement for more details.
  • External APIs: release of new Analytics and Management APIs. See the API reference for more details.
  • Drill-downs: added copy/download chart buttons for easier chart export. The "Download data" button is now always shown.
  • Portfolio strategies: added option to disable use of Exabel’s factor models. This is useful to run strategy backtests starting pre-2010, before which Exabel’s factor model is calculated.
  • Insights platforms: new “Documentation” link on the partner headers, if documentation is available.
  • Library: support for editing multiple signals
  • API / SDK: support for deleting all entities of a given entity type
  • SDK: support to create namespaced entity types
  • SDK: support for mapping to FIGI identifiers

Improvements

  • Expanded signal exportability (downloads): all raw data signals are now exportable by default; also made more DSL functions exportable. Factset data remains non-exportable, unless it is used only to derive something else (eg use of the fiscal calendar to align time series data points).
  • Re-organized menubar - renamed “Research tools” to “Strategies”, “Data management” to “Data”, and moved Screens and Tags under “Data”
  • Migrated to Hubspot for support chat
  • Point-in-time: added caption informing users of potentially longer run-times (prediction models, alpha tests & strategies)
  • Drill-downs: when choosing a different time range, we now persist shown/hidden chart plots
  • Dashboards: config now reflects actual column name, and reflects when an auto-generated name is used
  • Prediction models: Plot signal now populates Signal Explorer with target company
  • Tags: all users now see the option to include delisted companies
  • SDK: change in behaviour when uploading relationships - new relationship types are no longer automatically created, if not present

Bug fixes

  • Prediction models: fixed bug preventing click on the "Add signal" button in some cases
  • Signal explorer: fixed a bug preventing correlation analysis with certain signals (with semantic labels)
  • Signal explorer: fixed bug causing company selection to reset when switching between time series & scatter plots
  • Tag explorer: fixed bug causing entities from different tags to appear when switching tags
  • Strategies: fixed a bug with when presenting monthly returns in time zones east of UTC
  • Library: fixed an issue with invalid state when edits are cancelled
  • SDK: improved null handling (of company identifiers and resource properties)
