December 2022 update
🎉 Happy New Year! Best wishes from the Exabel team for a happy, healthy and prosperous 2023. To round off a fabulous year, we shipped 3 major features in December - alerts, the data catalog and charts on dashboards - and have lots more in store for 2023.
Introducing Alerts
Alerts allow you to monitor your signals regularly for anomalies and inflection points, helping you to stay on top of the large and ever-growing volumes of alternative data.
Renamed model predictions and backtests functions
We have added new model_predictions()
and model_backtests()
functions to retrieve predictions and backtests from prediction models respectively. These replace the existing model_by_id()
and backtests()
functions, which have ambiguous naming and have been deprecated.
November 2022 update
A small update this month, with the main highlights being a new BigQuery integration in Import Jobs, making data import easier for a wider range of data sets and partners; and a new DSL function to retrieve Visible Alpha revisions, and more generally point-in-time revisions for a given raw data signal.
Visible Alpha consensus revisions
We have introduced a new va_revisions()
function to retrieve Visible Alpha consensus revisions as a signal. This allows you to better understand how consensus estimates have changed over time - are there upgrades / downgrades, and is the revision trend changing?
YoujiVest Insights Platform launch
🎉 We have released the YoujiVest Insights Platform!
BigQuery Integration with Import Jobs
Earlier this year, we released Import Jobs, allowing customers and partners to rapidly onboard data sets from Snowflake. Today, we're adding an integration with Google BigQuery to also support customers and data sets hosted on BigQuery, furthering our goal of helping investors combine and analyze all their alternative data in one place.
October 2022 update
Revamped charting in Signal Explorer and saving of charts to the Library; a new Financial Models feature; revamped File Uploader; star your Library objects for easy access; and public sharing links for partners.
Revamped Charts
Charts in the Signal Explorer have been revamped, and may now be saved and shared as objects in your Library. New chart types are now available, and you now have much more control over chart settings.
Introducing Financial Models
Financial models allow you to map company KPIs to alternative data signals, combining data from multiple sources and aggregating it to a company's fiscal quarters.
